“I'd heard a lot about Cursor AI but struggled to get started on my own—worried I'd miss important features or not learn it properly. That's why I joined the WarsawJS Jam, and honestly, it was the best decision! I joined the beginners group with Kacper Wikieł as our coach. At first, it all felt overwhelming—LLMs, prompt engineering, everything. I'm more used to writing code than prompts, though I do use GitHub Copilot at work. But Cursor AI's prompt-based approach felt like a different world. It was a bit strange at first, but with Kacper's guidance and a hands-on task, things started to click. Step by step, I built an image-generating app with a slick UI, deployed on Vercel. Seeing the final result was incredibly satisfying! Kacper didn't just teach Cursor AI—he introduced us to a bunch of other tools and shared valuable insights to explore further. I came to learn the basics through a practical example and left with much more. I'm definitely joining the next workshop—it's a great learning environment, not just because of the coaches, but also the other participants. Highly recommend it if you want to dive into Cursor AI with support and inspiration!”
